ENGINEERED FOR THE REAL DEVICE

Everything important stays explicit.

SonKuPik K500 separates hardware state, staged presets, offline preview, and permanent upload so the UI never pretends to know more than the processor.

01

Hardware-first connection

Heartbeat, handshake, then complete readback. LIVE editing remains gated until the processor state is hydrated and authoritative.

ConnectHandshakeReadbackLIVE
02

Native preset integrity

Exact-size validation, checksum verification, reserved-byte preservation, and byte-identical no-op behavior.

03

Official + Local library

Validated SonKuPik presets, safe cached updates, and user-owned Local files in one mass-upload workflow.

04

Focused native UI

Qt 6 / QML with stable section lifetimes, responsive PEQ interaction, and no browser or localhost bridge.

05

Deterministic upload

Validate the batch first, commit in the proven device order, recall Slot 01, then re-read hardware before LIVE resumes.

PRESET WORKFLOW

Stage first. Write only when you mean it.

Selecting a file never silently changes hardware. Preview and permanent upload are distinct actions with different guarantees.

Read the user guide →
1
Select

Choose an Official or Local `.k500` preset.

2
Validate

Container size, checksum, codec, and file safety are checked first.

3
Preview

Hydrate an explicit offline edit session without touching the processor.

4
Commit

Use the verified USB transaction path for permanent slot storage.

5
Read back

Return to hardware truth before LIVE editing continues.

PROTOCOL SAFETY

No packet is invented just to make a control look complete.

Unsupported hardware commands remain read-only until donor or capture evidence proves the transaction. Permanent writes fail closed when certainty is lost.
